Element Rules:

In a TL1 Switch, code sets FR and US are only allowed when assigned to a Directory Number (DN).

In a TL1 Switch, code sets Y, UG, and N are only allowed when the feature is assigned to a specific DN on a Terminal (TSP), and Element 1 is required. The switch default for BBG lines is UG. The switch default for Non-BBG lines is N.

In the GTD-5 EAX switch, applicable to non-BBG lines or to define a feature included in a CLASS feature package on a centrex line.

In the GTD-5 EAX switch, the switch default for Centrex, Multiline Hunt Group members, Coin lines and Customer Owned Coin Operated Telephones (COCOTS) is OFF. For all other line types, the switch default is US, but can be overridden by the value shown in the ARC FID or the RCU FID.
