Series entry is only allowed when a four-wire assignment is needed.

The cable number is always unique within a wire center.

A hyphen is not allowed in a cable name used to identify a Facility One (F1) segment cable.

The Code Set NR (not required) is allowed only when the FID CA appears floated on the F1 line and the circuit is a point-to-point circuit that has F2, F3, etc. facilities.

When the Code Set NR (not required is used, the non-inventory cable element (N) must follow the F1 FID.
