FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

1. The CATV FID indicates that an otherwise standard loop is specially provisioned with equipment which utilizes special technology.  Such special technology permits multiple services (e.g., standard circuit switched voice and CATV) to utilize the same subscriber loop (i.e., same twisted pair).

2. Section: IDENT,  Position: LH
   The absence of an action code infers the presence of an "I" (IN) action code.   The I action code is optional on the service order.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

1. Section:  S&E      Position:  FL
   When a unique USOC is used to indicate that the loop involves special technology, use of the CATV FID is not required.
