DISTRIBUTING FRAME

INDICATES:

A terminal at a Distributing Frame where crossconnections are to be made. It is used with four types of Distributing Frames, the Conventional Frame, the COSMIC Frame, the ESS Modular Frame, and the Remote Switching System-Extended Office Frame.

FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. Elements within a particular format are mutually exclusive with elements in a different format.
  2. This FID is entered in the Central Office Facilities Subset and/or Outside Plant Facilities Subset.
  3. T, F and X order types are prohibited for Access Service application.
