The direction of the circuit's path when it enters on a bi-directional Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) or Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) ring identified by the Intermediate Connecting Facility Assignment and the customer has assignment control.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:
  1. The number contained in the DIR1-DIR4 FID must match the number contained in the Intermediate Connecting Facility Assignment One (1) Thru Four (4) (ICF1-ICF4) FID, i.e., DIR2 requires ICF2.
