FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. The DSA FID is used to identify ISDN, ISDN On-Demand Packet, Non-ISDN Multiple Appearance Directory Numbers (MADN) and ISDN/MADN services, when an ambiguous USOC is used.  An ambiguous USOC is a USOC that can be used for two or more types of services.
  2. The DSA FID must have the code set M or R when an ambiguous USOC is used to provision Non-ISDN Multiple Appearance Directory Numbers.
  3. When the DSA FID has the code set M or R, the Primary Number (PN) FID is then the Primary Line Identifier (PLID).
  4. The DSA FID with the code set I is entered only on the DSL digital subscriber line USOC logical line.
  5. When Element 1 Code Set is DOS or NXS, the NXX Code Sharing (NXS) FID is also required.
  6. SERIES AND RANGE ENTRIES - PROCESSING
Service Order Analysis and Control System (SOAC) should process series and range data entries using the DUPLICATE algorithm.
  7. DMS-100 ISDN
The code set ISF is used for features that are assigned to a non-directory number.  This code set will be used by the MARCH system for processing.
  8. DMS-100 Non ISDN
The code set FK is used for features that are assigned to a non-directory number key.
  9. T, F, and X order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  10. X action codes are prohibited on Access Service orders.
  11. Section: IDENT   Position: LH
The absence of an action code infers the presence of an "I" (IN) action code.   The I action code is optional on the service order.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. NON-ISDN MADN
When a unique USOC is used to indicate that the loop terminates on a key set, DSA M is not needed.  If one of the ambiguous USOCs is used, then DSA M is required.  KEY is not entered on this logical line.  The reason that KEY 1 must be separated from the loop USOC line is that SOAC cannot build loop and KEY assignments when both pieces of data are on the same logical line.

Element Rules:

When code set M or R appears, PN is required on the same logical line. PN becomes the PLID in this instance.
Code sets A, C, D, W, I, M, IS, MS, and R cannot be used in series.
Code sets I, M, IS, MS and R cannot be used with code sets of A, C, D, or W.
