FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:
  1. FID must appear on both the "T" and "F" order where the "F" telephone number is to be reused on the "T" order.
  2. When entered in the S&E Section, the FID is floated after the assignable line USOC.
  3. DUAL is allowed only when the customer telephone number(s) is working at T & F addresses at the same time, within the same Wire Center.
  4. FID is not allowed on T & F orders that are in a Wire Center served by an Integrated Digital Loop Carrier system.
  5. Section:  IDENT,  Position:  FL
    The absence of an action code infers the presence of an "I" action code.  The "I" action code is optional on the service order

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:
  1. When the DUAL FID is used, the originating equipment (OE) associated with the F service is reused for the T service.
  2. Caution should be used when using the DUAL FID since it specifies uninterrupted service. When the DUAL FID is not used, service may be temporarily interrupted.
