FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

T and F order types prohibited for Access Services application.
The absence of an action code infers the presence of an "I" (IN) action code on N, T and C orders.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

This FID is used on inward activity to denote enhanced processing is required and to provide the related order number of the facilities to be re-used. It is also used on outward activity to identify the related order number for the re-used facilities.

Element Rules:

The Functional Accounting requirement for a check character, previously assigned to the 13th position, is now required to appear within the Service Order Number element.

Service Order Number is locally developed. The last three characters must be numeric because the customer code is normally derived from the last three numerals of the order number that established the account.

Service Order Number element, including the check character, must be unique and must remain the same within the Company, from order issuance until ninety days after order completion.
