FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. At sign indicates change and deletion activity. Plus sign indicates addition and rearrangement activity.
  2. All combinations of Elements 21, 22, 23 and 24 or 25 are allowed with the various Line Identification element combinations (TN, CLS, CLT, etc.) listed in the Element Combination Chart.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. If rates vary for different types of cutoff arrangements, the appropriate USOC must appear followed by the Feature Indicator C and related data.  

    If add on arrangements more complex than conference are to be expressed, the appropriate USOC must appear followed by the Feature Indicator A and related data.
  2. To help the installer identify the work and to simplify the logic for determining charges, a plus sign (+) is used to indicate addition, and an at sign (@) is used to indicate change and deletion activity.   

    To indicate a line termination(s) being removed, an at sign (@) is placed immediately in front of the station numbers(s) in the descriptive information that follows C (change) action codes.

    To identify line terminations being worked on (rearranged or added), a plus sign (+) is placed immediately in front of the station number(s) that follows T (change to activity) action codes and X (change to and move activity) action codes     
  3. Examples of order entries follow:
