The central office line equipment assigned to a line or trunk is ground start.

FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:
  1. Section:  ASGM    Position:  FL
    This FID is entered in the Central Office Facilities Subset.  It is entered following the FID OE.
  2. Section: S&E  Position: FL
    The FID GST is not permitted floating after a USOC when the FID LPS (Loop Start) floats after the same USOC.
  3. T, F and X order types are prohibited for Access Service application.
  4. X action codes are prohibited on Access Service orders.
  5. In a TL1 switch, this FID is not valid for an analog member of an EKTS.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:
  1. This FID is entered floating after the line or trunk USOC which requires the assignment of line equipment.
  2. The FID GST may be entered on the original service order, or it may be added on a correction to a pending service order.
  3. On subsequent service order activity, the assignment will be that defined by the T line. For example, GST may be added to or deleted from a circuit by entering the USOC for the circuit following C & T (or X) action codes with GST only on the T (or X) action line to add it or only on the C action line to delete it.
