FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

1. When the main telephone number is not the same as the telephone number associated with the first terminal of a multiline hunt group (i.e., lead telephone number of the multiline hunt group), or the Terminal Number - Multiline Group (TER) FID is not the Primary Line Identifier (PLID), the Telephone Line Identifier (TLI) FID with the lead telephone number of the multiline hunt group as data, must be associated with every specification of the floated Hunting-Multiline Group Number (HML) FID.
2. A multiline group number is unique to an ESS traffic unit.
3. Section:  S&E      Position:  FL
   The HML FID must appear with each USOC associated with each line in the Multiline Hunt Group.
4. Section:  S&E      Position:  LH
   The HML FID must appear left-hand whenever there is an inward or outward action (i.e., I, O, C, X, or T action code) on one or more lines or USOCs associated with the lines in the Multiline Hunt Group.
5. Section:  S&E      Position:  LH
   The HTY FID must also be entered for all hunting types.
6. Section:  S&E      Position:  LH
   In 2ESS, non-hunting terminal numbers must be higher than hunting terminal numbers. In 1AESS, the first terminal number must be 1 (see TER FID).
7. Section:  S&E      Position:  LH
   The terminal numbers appearing as data after the left-hand HML FID must be in ascending, consecutive order.
8. Section:  ASGM     Position:  FL
   The HML FID and its data are entered with the TER  FID (Terminal Number-Multiline Group) and its data for each line in a multiline group.
9. Section:  ASGM     Position:  FL
   This FID is entered in the Miscellaneous Subset, Central Office Facilities Subset and Outside Plant Facilities Subset.
10. For Access Service Tariff application C and T Action Codes cannot be used to change the group number.
11. T, F, and X order types are prohibited for Access Service application.
12. X action code prohibited on Access Service orders.
13. Section:  S&E      Position:  LH, FL
    When NXX Code Sharing is involved, Exchange Key (EXK) is required on left-hand and floated HML logical lines.
