FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. HTY must appear floating following the left-hand Hunting-Multiline Group Number (HML) FID, preceding or following any other FIDs which float after HML.
  2. HTY may be added or deleted or the data may be changed. If the type of hunting arrangement is to be changed, the HML entry is shown out (O) and in (I) with the change reflected in the I entry.
  3. 1AESS, 2ESS, DMS-100, DMS-10, EWSD, TL1, AXE, GTD-5EAX, FETEX-150, SanteraOne, DCO
Regular hunt must be indicated by the appearance of HTY RG.
  4. HTY may appear floating following the left-hand Hunting Sequence Non-Multiline Group (HTG) FID to indicate implementation as a Directory Number Hunt (DH), Series Completion (SC) Hunting in a DCO or DMS-100 switch or Directory Number Hunt (DNH) in a DMS-10 switch.
  5. EWSD-PRI
HTY may appear floating following the left-hand Primary Rate Interface Name (PRIN) FID .
  6. FETEX-150
HTY may appear floating on an assignable line USOC logical line when additional hunting patterns are provided within a multiline hunt group via additional start hunt Telephone Numbers (TNs).
  7. 1AESS
When HTY MP or HTY CIR appears, the Hunting-Circular (HTC) FID is not permitted. When HTY UD or HTY AD appears, the HTC FID must also appear. Circular hunting is required with this hunting type. The HTC FID may also appear with HTG RG or PF.

Symbols:

Asterisk

Element Rules:

Lucent has defined most of the popular assignable service features, which are referred to as “pre-constructed” features and are identified on a FID by a mandatory leading asterisk “*”.  Additionally, system administrators are able to locally customize additional assignable features, which are referred to as “constructible” features.  Constructible features are locally developed, do not contain a leading asterisk and have 1-8 character feature names.  The Feature field is used to define both “pre-constructed” and “constructible” types of features.
