FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

1. T, F, X, and P order types are prohibited for Access Service application.
2. Use of a four character year, in the Fielded Identification section, requires SOAC local table changes.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

1. This entry may be used on initial and on subsequent (correction and cancellation) orders.  The ID date shown on an initial order remains the same on subsequent orders.
2. The ID FID normally floats after the fielded APP entry. Two or more ID entries may require the use of the first available line in the non-fielded portion of the Identification Section.
3. The ID FID appears left-hand when data entry overflows the APP block of the fielded portion of the Identification Section.
4. This FID and its data entry are floated in the APP field to identify the date the service order was issued for processing only if it differs from the application date.
