FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. Elements 3, 5 and 6 or Elements 3, 7 and 8 are required when a line or circuit billed on one account is connected to a jack on a different billing account.
  2. A semicolon and space is used preceding the jack line positions when the lines or circuits are billed on other accounts.
  3. JLP can only appear behind jack and line or circuit USOCs.
  4. When the FID JLP is applicable, a cross reference of the jack and position number is required following the jack and line or circuit USOC.
  5. T, F and X order types are prohibited for Access Service application.
  6. X action codes are prohibited on Access Service orders.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. On service order activity where jack and position information is unknown and unretained REMARK (RMK FID) entry follows the USOC to indicate the service is to be terminated on the next available jack and pin position. Upon completion of the installation activity, the installer or the installers control group should provide the appropriate jack installation and/or jack and pin information to the Business Office/ICSC for service order updating.
  2. If this data is updated by service order only, the FID and data should be retained.
