SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. The H.323 compatible terminal equipment serves as a customer's telephone set on an IP Network, and is referred to as an endpoint in H.323 standards.  The LSID FID contains the IP alias that provides a unique identifier for the terminal.  The Gatekeeper uses the IP alias and the IP address to provide address translation for an H.323 terminal.  The IP alias can be formatted like a telephone number, an e-mail address or another unique identifier.
