LOCAL SERVING ZONE

INDICATES:

The NPA/NXXs of the customer's local wire center and the contiguous wire center(s) which may or may not be in the subscriber's local calling area.  LSZ is used to identify calls within the wire centers for other billing purposes.

When used for Private Line Service, LSZ indicates the NPA/NXX of the Circuit Locations (CKLs).
