LOOP TERMINATION IDENTIFIER

INDICATES:

The unique identification of each additional loop installed at a single service location (LA, SA, DPA, or CKL), for which more than one separate loop termination at a serving terminal is required. A four wire service is considered to be a single loop termination for the application of this FID. LTI also indicates the identification of additional service locations not identified by LA, SA, DPA, or CKL, e.g., Access Service FGA or WATS Access Line InterLATA extension through an additional POP.

LTI must be retained on the Customer Service Record and the Customer Line Card Record. When LTI is used, it must appear on every service order entry (i.e., logical line) associated with the loop termination. LTI is a primary loop termination identifier.

   This FID is entered in the Miscellaneous Subset, Central Office Facilities Subset, and Outside Plant Facilities Subset.
2. T and F order types prohibited for Access Service application.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

1. When this FID is used to identify a special services loop termination which is inventoried in TIRKS, the FID SGN is required on the same logical line. It is recommended that the data entries for SGN and LTI are the same.
