SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:
  1. MCDU represents the maximum number of concurrent data units that can be transmitted over a Switched Multimegabit Data Service (SMDS) Subscriber Network Interface (SNI) circuit from the SMDS Switch Network Element (SS NE) to the customer premise equipment (CPE) and vice versa.
  2. Access
    For Exchange Access SMDS (XA-SMDS), MCDU represents the maximum number of concurrent data units that can be transmitted in one direction over the Inter-carrier Interface (ICI) transmission path.
