FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

1. The MPB FID may appear without data following it.
2. The MPB FID will normally appear on the ASG line except where different arrangements exist within the same ASG.
   
   Situation 1
   The BAID FID code set of CM (combination of billing arrangements) applies at the ASG level where non-meet point billing and MM (multiple bill) options apply to different services within the ASG.  In this case, the MPB FID code set MM at the USOC level identifies the meet point billed service(s).
   
   Situation 2
   The BAID FID code set of CM (combination of billing arrangements) applies at the ASG level where non-meet point billing, SS (single bill - single tariff), SM (single bill - multiple tariffs), and/or SP (single bill - pass thru) apply to services within the ASG. In this case, the MPB FID code sets of SS, SM, and/or SP at the USOC level identify the meet point billed service(s).
3. Some companies may employ table logic to mechanically populate Element 2 (Service Billing Arrangement).  When it is necessary to override the mechanized input, use of Element 3 (Override Indicator) allows the data to be manually entered.
