PACKET NOTIFICATION TYPE FOR INCOMING CALLS

INDICATES:

5ESS
An incoming X.25 virtual call may be terminated to the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) packet bearer service by the switch initiating a B channel or logical link on the D channel using Q.931 procedures on the D channel.

TL1, EWSP, EWSD
Whether the user should always be notified, (TL1 only) never be notified, or conditionally be notified that an incoming X.25 call request packet is awaiting delivery.

FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:
  1. ISDN Packet Switched Bearer Service
    Section:  S&E      Position:  FL
    For mechanized flow-through, FID may be entered on the  FEATURE  USOC logical line if CLS appears on the same logical line.
  2. T, F, and X order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  3. X action code prohibited on Access Service orders.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:
  1. 5ESS
    When a user subscribes to Conditional Notification (COND), it allows that user to receive a call when the packet link is not up.  If the link is not up, it is brought up at the time of the call.
