FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. When three asterisks (***) appear following the fielded ORD FID, the left-hand ORD FID must appear in the non fielded Identification Section.
  2. T, F, X,  P and A order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  3. Section: IDENT,  Position: LH
    The absence of an action code infers the presence of an "I" (IN) action code. The I action code is optional on the service order.

Element Rules:

The Functional Accounting requirement for a check character, previously assigned to the 13th position, is now required to appear within the Service Order Number element.
Service Order Number is locally developed.  The last three characters must be numeric because the customer code is normally derived from the last three numerals of the order number that established the account.
Service Order Number element, including the check character, must be unique and must remain the same within the Company, from order issuance until ninety days after order completion.
