FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. Section:  ASGM      Position:  FL
    This FID is entered in the Central Office Facilities subset.
  2. When FID appears on same logical line as the Distribution and Supplemental Assignment (DSA) FID with code set of M or R, the Primary Line Identifier (PLID) is PN.
  3. The use of the PN FID for primary line identification is for provisioning (Facility Assignment and Control System - FACS) and not maintenance (Loop Maintenance Operations System - LMOS).
  4. DMS-100
    The PN value is equal to the directory number on Key 1 of electronic key set.
  5. 5ESS ISDN
    The PN value is equal to the directory number on the first call appearance of a multiple call appearance terminal, or the solitary directory number assigned to a non-multiple call appearance terminal.
  6. Multiple Directory Numbers Service (all switch types)
    The PN value is equal to the directory number that is assigned an Originating Equipment (OE) and loop.
  7. TL1
    In a TL1 switch, when PN represents Residence Distinctive Alerting Service (RDAS), it is not valid for an analog member of an Electronic Key Telephone Set (EKTS).
  8. T, F, and X order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  9. X action code prohibited on Access Service orders.
