  1. T, F and X order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  2. X action code prohibited on Access Service orders.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. This FID is used on both Bi-directional Line-Switched Ring (BLSR) and Uni-directional Path-Switched Ring (UPSR) SONET architectures.  The SONET ring bandwidth associated with unprotected channels that is normally reserved for protection will not be utilized for protection functions.  Therefore, it may be available for assignment as additional unprotected channel transport capacity.
