FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. T, F, X and P order types prohibited for Access Service application.
  2. X action code prohibited on Access Service orders.

SERVICE ORDER ACTIVITY NOTES:

  1. The territorial Signaling Transfer Point provides a single point of interconnection for SS7 signaling within a territory (multi-state, multi-LATA). This allows large network and service providers (e.g., IXCs, CLECs, WSPs, etc.) the ability to make one SS7 connection into the ILEC for an entire region or territory, instead of having to interconnect each SS7 link into multiple STPs in each LATA.
