FID RULES/CONSTRAINTS:

  1. ISDN Circuit Switched Bearer Service
    Section:  S&E      Position:  FL

    For mechanized flow-through, FID may be entered on the  FEATURE  USOC logical line if one of the following combinations of FIDs appear on the same logical line:
      -Primary Number (PN) and Call Appearance (CAPP) (with the CA attribute)
      -PN and Key Designation (KEY)
      -Telephone Number (TN) and Service Profile Identifier (SPID)
      -Telephone Line Identifier (TLI), PN and Terminal Number-Multiline Group (TER)     
  2. Standard Basic Rate Interface
    Section:  S&E      Position:  FL

    a.  When Elements 6 and 7 (Terminal Option Attribute Name and Value) appear without Element 3 (Type of Terminal), the switch will default to a terminal type of C.  

    b.  When the Additional Call Offering (ACOS) FID appears, but TTYP Element 3 (Type of Terminal) does not appear on the same logical line, the switch will default to a terminal type of A.
  3. Standard Basic Rate Interface
    Section:  S&E       Position:  LH

    a.  When Elements 5 and 6 (Terminal Option Attribute Name and Value) appear without Elements 2 (Type of Terminal), the switch will default to a terminal type of C.

    b.  When the ACOS FID appears, but TTYP Element 2 (Type of Terminal) does not appear on the same logical line, the switch will default to a terminal type of A.
