  1. Unified Messaging Service (UMS) is an ILEC-provided consolidated messaging repository for e-mail, wireline voice messaging/mail, wireless voice mail and fax.
  2. The messages are stored with the ILEC-ISP server with support for text-to-speech conversions accessible through various subscriber access devices (e.g., cell phone, personal computer, wireline phone).

Element Rules:

When Code Set is "3", the ILEC would have an associated ISP providing an Internet service with this account.  Therefore, one or more Internet-based FIDs are required in the same section as UMSG.
